Every day, around the world, there are millions of vulnerable children who face the most challenging and sorrowful start to life. One child in six lives in a conflict zone, a quarter of a billion children are out of school, and around 150 million children suffer from malnutrition.
Thankfully, there are exceptional charities doing all they can to provide shelter, essential goods and educational support, and their work is critical to the short- and long-term wellbeing of these children. The Ice Cream Dream Foundation works alongside these charities.
Our objective is to complement the supply of fundamental resources with something just as essential. A moment of pure joy. A scoop of love. A reason to have hope for the future.

Ice Cream Dream's mission is to create joyful experiences for children who have rarely ever had them. Anchored in the concept of childhood happiness, the Foundation has been created with the belief that an ice-cream can transport a child away from the enormous hardships they face.
While the physical moment may be fleeting, the emotional impact for these children can be significant. We use ice cream as a vehicle for giving children a reason to have faith in humanity. It is a way of showing that we care about their emotional wellbeing, not just their basic human needs.
IT’S SO MUCH MORE THAN A SWEET TREAT. IT SHOWS THAT WE CARE
We want to be able to bring ice cream to remote parts of the world and share it with children who have never had the opportunity to enjoy one scoop of happiness.
We use an ice cream as a symbol for happiness, childhood and joy. It’s a way to highlight that joy can be simple. Experiences provide a longer lasting sense of happiness than possessions. We will create experiences that bring smiles to those eating an ice-cream.
ALL CHILDREN DESERVE TO EXPERIENCE MOMENTS WHEN FEARS MELT AWAY
An ice-cream donation is not a long-term ‘feel good’ event. However, in a proper setting of sharing and giving, it will always leave a long-lasting impact. We want to spread hope, joy and a smile. Let the children know that there are people in society who care about them.
We engage with organizations supporting orphans and children in need, to come together and spread this simple message.

THE FOUNDATIONS OF SOCIETY ARE LAID IN CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES
In a world that is rushing on a treadmill, the gap between the rich and poor is growing. Humanity, Humility, Generosity and Empathy are values that are rapidly disappearing. In a world where AI, DIGITAL and DATA are driving the future, research shows that empathy is becoming scarce. We strongly believe our next generations need to have faith in goodness, confidence in themselves and in society, and learn to live mindfully.
There are millions of orphans and children from poor homes, who have not experienced the joys of childhood as we know it.
Recent Projects
The Ice Cream Dream Foundation was founded in 2016 by MPS Puri with a single purpose; to help children who are poor, socially disadvantaged, or suffering from impaired health, by means of an ice cream given to grant a moment of joy. We cooperate with existing organizations, foundations and charities who share a similar purpose.
